Shirley M. Parkinson, 82, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 13, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital.

Shirley was the daughter of the late Harold and Lillian Parkinson. She was employed by Joseph Bancroft and Sons as a lab technician prior to her retirement and also enjoyed embroidery.

She will be dearly missed by her sister and brother-in-law Henry and Florence Kowalski, of Wilmington and her niece and nephew; Christine and Stephen.

Funeral services will be private.
