Robin W. Koerber, age 58, of Newark, DE passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. Born in Wilmington, Robin was the daughter of Patricia (Foy) and the late Joseph H. Wallis, Jr. Robin graduated from Concord High School and worked as a receptionist at Kentmere Veterinary Hospital for 22 years. She also founded and owned R&R Quality Services Inc. with her husband, Rick. Robin loved boating on the Chesapeake Bay and spending time with her family at the beach in Avalon, NJ. She had a passion and love for all animals. Robin was predeceased by her father in 2016.Robin is survived by her husband of 38 years, Richard "Rick" J. Koerber; her daughter, Shannon Bullard (Sean) of Landenberg, PA; her son, Sean Koerber of Newark, DE; her granddaughter, Cara Bullard of Landenberg, PA; her mother, Patricia Wallis of Wilmington, DE; her mother and father-in-law, Elizabeth and Richard Koerber of Rochester, MI; her sister, Lynn Kissig of Newark, DE; her brothers, Joseph Wallis III of Houston, TX and William Wallis of West Chester, PA; her sisters-in-law, Joan Walker (Chris), Susan Keenehan (Patrick), and Colleen Lynch (Dan); her brother-in-law, Bryan (Crystal) Koerber; and many nieces and nephews.Robin's family is eternally grateful to her extended family, friends, and medical professionals for the caring, friendship, love and respect given to her and her family during her multi-year courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.Relatives and friends are invited to join Robin's family at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 28, 2018, for visitation followed by a Memorial Services at 12:30 P.M. at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808.
