Age 60, of Hockessin, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Seasons Hospice from complications of a massive stroke.Bob was a graduate of McKean High School, Class of 1974, and the University of Delaware, Class of 1978, where he studied Criminal Justice. Bob held positions with various banks in Delaware including Bank of Delaware and Mellon where he was an investment advisor. Bob enjoyed trips to Delaware Park, Atlantic City and Harrah's in Chester, PA. He enjoyed the comradery of "The Breakfast Club" with his friends, and family dinners at the Olive Garden or the Hunter's Den. He loved the beach. His favorite was Broadkill Beach where he spent a lot of his time over the course of his life. He was predeceased by his niece Melissa Wright.Bob is survived by his parents Robert, Sr. and Catherine Z. Wright of Hockessin, DE; his son, Michael Cariello; his brother Carl (Pam); two nephews, Carl and Matthew; and his loving companion, Donna BennettMass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 24th at 11 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin where friends and family are invited to a visitation after 10 AM.
