Richard M. Davis, age 49, of Newark, DE passed away on April 3, 2021. Born in Wilmington, he was the son of Carol Green and the late Richard E. Davis. He worked in transportation, most recently working for Atack Trucking Company and also for Andrew Simoff Horse Transportation. Rich had a love of Led Zeppelin and Nascar. In addition, he enjoyed spending lazy Sundays with his family watching football. Rich was very caring and would do anything for anyone who needed his help. Rich will be dearly missed by his children, Mark and Brittany Davis, Steven Davis, Heather Davis (Jason), and Sean Davis; his grandchildren, Shyla, Scarlette, and Georgia; his mother, Carol Davis; his sisters, Victoria Plant (Elwood) and Jennifer Scorziello (Roger). A visitation will be held on Friday, April 9th at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808 from 6pm to 7pm. Burial will be held privately.
