Richard Joseph Turnbull. Sr., 70, went peacefully back home on February 22, 2017.He leaves behind his daughter, Kimberly Ciliberti (Michael), son, Richard "Rick" Turnbull, Jr and one grandson, Dominic.Born & raised in Elkton, the son of the late John W. Turnbull, Sr. and Agnes (Garrett) Turnbull, he was a lifelong resident of Cecil County. Richard was an avid outdoorsman, hunting, fishing or crabbing every chance he could.He is survived by his sisters, Martha Grunza (Ted), Mary Siebold (Dianna), both of Delaware, Theresa Badur and brothers, John W. Turnbull, Jr, Michael Turnbull, Joseph Turnbull & Mark Turnbull (Barbara) of Elkton. Also many nieces and nephews.Richard donated his body to research with the State of Maryland.
