Richard Allen Coghan, age 64, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 2, 2022.

Richard was born in Jersey City, NJ, son of the late Gloria (Grismer) and Frank Coghan. Richard proudly served our nation in the U.S Navy, serving on the U.S.S Enterprise. He returned home and began his career as a tour bus driver in New Jersey until his retirement. In his free time, Richard loved to be outdoors and fish. In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother, Frank Coghan, and sister, Linda McMickle.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lisa Coghan; sons, Richard (Dominique) and Kyle Coghan; daughter, Nicole (Lawrence) Rada; grandchildren, Maleah, Sean, Andrew, and Gabrielle; brothers, Tommy, Dennis, and Glenn Coghan; sisters, Cathy Moss and Diane Simpson; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 1-2 P.M with a service beginning at 2 P.M at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will be held privately.
