Queamella Prigg Jackson, also fondly known as "Q", "Creamie" and "Q-ma" formerly of Avondale, Pa. age 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from complications of cancer at Christiana Hospital. She attended Avon Grove High School and received her GED later in life. She also graduated from Gordon Phillips Beauty School. She was a proud member of Galilee UAME Church. At Galilee, she especially enjoyed the family and friends gatherings. She also enjoyed missionary work with the church and always giving to others. She also used to sing with the Chester County Community Mass Choir.Q was born on February 21, 1948, in West Grove, PA and was a lifelone area resident of Avondale, PA. She was a jack of all trades. She started out as a housekeeper and then a bus driver, nurses' aide, hair dresser and back to a nurse's aide at Bowling Green. She also owned her own plants shop at one time, as well as a beauty salon in her house. She was very creative. She like to make ceramics, knicks knacks and designing floral center pieces for friends and family. In her earlier years, she would make dresses and curtains. She loved cooking and baking. She made the best yeast rolls anyone ever tasted. She loved her Lord and her grandchildren and nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces.Queamella is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Jackson Wagner and her son, Duae Jackson; her sisters, Maurise Monir (Louie) Wagner, Lisa Minor (Gary); her brothers, Carlos Prigg, Jerry Prigg, Eric Prigg (Roslyn), Deryle Pringg, Dale (Stevie)Prigg (Faye) and Thane (Ceasar) Prigg; her nephews, Derric Minor, Jeremiah Prigg, Marcus Prigg, Darius Prigg, Ethan Prigg, Stevie Jr. Prigg, Aaron Prigg, Christopher Prigg and nieces, Denise Keysha, Heather, Allison, Erica, and Faith; her grandsons, Julian and Jayden; and numerous aunts, uncles, great nephews / nieces, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ethel Prigg, her brother Edward (Babes) Prigg, JKr. and her son, John Gregory Jackson.Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 27 at 2 p.m. at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where friends and family are invited to visitation after 1 p.m. Burial will be private.
