Paul Polries, 55, of West Chester passed away suddenly in his home on Thursday, September 21, 2017.He was born on July 20, 1962 to Louis and Mary Joanne Polries in Minneapolis, MN. He graduated from Sylvania Northview High School (Ohio) in 1980. He earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1984, and went on to work for The Boeing Company (Seattle, WA) for one year before attending Washington University in St. Louis, graduating with an MBA in 1987. He worked in Finance for 30 years, beginning his career at EF Hutton Consulting Services (Wilmington, DE), then going on to work for Smith Barney (Wilmington, DE), Lockwood Financial (Malvern, PA), Windermere Financial (Portland, OR), and Overture Financial (Philadelphia, PA). He most recently served as partner and Director of Research at Zeke Capital Advisors (Berwyn, PA) for the past 10 years.Paul is remembered for his dry sense of humor, sharp mind, and generosity. He enjoyed golf, reading, playing with his dog Penny, biking, and vacationing in Marco Island, FL.He is survived by his best friend and wife of 26 years, Jeanne (Abrams), their daughters, Erin Polries and Allison Polries Mast, son-in-law Derek Mast, sister, Ann Polries Mehelas (Tom), as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, and friends.Family, friends, and others whose lives' Paul touched are invited to St. Patrick's Church, 104 Channing Ave, Malvern, PA 19355, at 11:00 am on Friday, September 29 to celebrate his life. Visitation with Paul's family will begin at 10:00 amIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Paul to the Penn Preventative Cardiology Program to support research in clinical Lipidology.
