Age 66, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital.Born in Wilmington, Paul was the son of the late Zelma (Wilgis) and Paul J. Sheridan, Jr. He was a graduate of Claymont High School and the University of Delaware and earned his Master's Degree from Central Michigan University. He served his country proudly in the US Army as Captain in the mid 1980's. He was a self-employed general contractor and he owned Paul Sheridan Residential Contracting. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing with the Golden Rule Fishing Club and was a member of the Pennington Heights Hunting Club.Paul will be dearly missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Paul J., IV and Jenifer of Wilmington; his daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Mark Donathan of Philadelphia, PA; four grandchildren, Cassie, Kate, Grace and Jack; and his sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Jeff Bennett of San Antonio, TX.Friends and family are invited to visitation on Monday, December 11th from 6 PM and 8 PM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM.
