Nancy B. Hall Boner, age 93, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
Nancy was born in Mount Vernon NY, daughter of the late Elise (Bartlett) and Kenneth Barton Sr. She received her bachelor degree in music from Elon College, and her master degree in education from the University of Delaware. She was a music and elementary school teacher at A.I. DuPont Elementary School. In her free time, Nancy loved playing bridge, and enjoyed playing the piano and singing. She and her husband owned a gem and mineral shop, and later in life they spent time traveling in their motor home.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her husbands, John T. Hall Jr. and Fred C. Boner; and her brother, Kenneth Barton Jr.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lynch (Richard) of Wilmington; son, John Thomas Hall III (Sandra) of Savannah GA; grandchildren, Frank Thomas Lynch, Kieleigh Jackson, and William Jackson; sister, Ernestine Barton Priebe of Buffalo NY; two great grandchildren; two nieces and five nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the Mealey Funeral Home, 703 N. Broom Street, Wilmington DE 19805, where friends and family may call from 11 to 12 PM, with a brief funeral service beginning at 12 PM. Burial will be held privately.
