Age 78, of Newark, DE, passed away at Christiana Hospital on Friday, May 22, 2015.Born in Wilmington, DE, Mary was the daughter of the late William F. and Mary (Lucey) Wells and was a graduate of Wilmington High School. She worked as a file clerk for the DuPont Company. She was a member of Holy Angels Church and was an avid bowler at Blue Hen Lanes.Mary was preceded in death by her two brothers, William Jr. and John Wells and a sister, Elaine Dotts. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 58 years, Edwin E. Conaway; her daughters, Bonita Conaway of Newark, DE, Connie Schneider and her husband Michael of Bear, DE, and Teresa Tombroff of Newark, DE; her son, Daniel Conaway of Newark, DE; nine grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew & his wife Ashley, Sean, Kyle, Brittany, Zachary, Noah, Sydney and Aiden; and three great grandchildren, Justin, Gianna and Kayleigh. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 29th at 11 AM at Holy Angels Church, 82 Possum Park Road, Newark where friends are invited to attend the service. Attendees are welcome to visit with the family to celebrate Mary's life after the Mass. Interment will be Wednesday, June 3rd at 10 AM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
