Mary Elizabeth Carey, age 75 of Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 10, 2016. Born in Woodside, NY, Mary was the daughter of the late Peter James and Helen Veronica (Curry) Carey. For over 30 years, she worked at Banker's Trust before her retirement. She was a former member of St. John the Beloved Church. She loved spending time with family and friends. Mary is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Audrey Carey of Ocean View, DE, Martin and Cathleen Carey of Flushing, NY, Michael and Cathleen of Millerton, NY, Virginia Carey of Annapolis, MD and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Her brothers, Thomas and William Carey, predeceased her. Friends and family are invited to visitation on Saturday, March 19th after 3 PM at MEALEY FUNERAL HOMES, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where funeral services will begin at 4 PM.
