Mrs. Capparuccini was called home to be with the Lord and to join her husband and loved ones that have predeceased her. Marina peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at her daughter Maria Felicia Vattilana's home where she had resided. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.Marina was born in San Bendetto del Tronto (Ascoli Piceno), Italy. She was the daughter of the late Domenico and Adele (Bordoni) Mauloni. She immigrated to the United States of America in 1958. After coming to America, Marina owned and operated a specialty shop for over 30 years in Little Italy "Italian-American Grocery Store." After closing the establishment, Marina enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her greatest joy was growing her vegetable and herb garden. Marina also enjoyed cooking and most of all baking Italian cookies to share with family and friends. There was always a place at her table for friends to share her delicious Italian food. Marina also loved to travel.Marina will be sadly missed by her daughters: Faye Ferdinanda Oakes and Maria Felicia Vattilana and husband Ezio of Wilmington; two grandchildren, Daniella Marina Share (Ryan) of North Hampton, PA and Francesco A. Vattilana of Wilmington; three great granddaughters, Jessica Marina Share, Alyssa Rose Share and Marissa Grace Share of North Hampton, PA; two brothers, Dino (Elvira) Mauloni and Umberto (Ada) Mauloni and two sisters, Aldorinda (Remo) Perozzi and Maria (Elio) Mauloni, all of Italy; and many nieces and nephews in Italy and America. In addition to her parents, Marina was predeceased by her husband, Francesco Antonio Capparuccini and son-in-law, Donald J. Oakes.; two brothers, Nazzareno (Gemma) Mauloni and Elio Mauloni; and three sisters, Adelaida (Primo) Ruggieri, Giannina (Emedio) Castelli and Amelia (Giuseppe) Bovara, all of Italy.Marina was a member of Italo-American United and always looked forward to going to the Club's holiday parties.A visitation will be held at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church, 10 Old Church Road, Greenville on Saturday, April 25, 2015 between 9 and 10:30 a.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow the Mass at Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.
