Louise Alice Restak Ollstein, age 75, of New Castle, DE passed away on August 27th, 2021 in Washington, D.C. Born in St. Marys, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alice Mary (Hynes) and Dr. Lewis Joseph Restak. Louise was raised in Hanover, PA and graduated from Delone Catholic High School and went on to attend Dunbarton College of the Holy Cross in Washington D.C. Louise continued her studies in Washington D.C., receiving her Master's degree and PhD in Education from The Catholic University of America. Her professional career included work in education development throughout higher education. While living in New York City, Louise spent a time working in fundraising for the Archdiocese of New York in Cardinal Spellman High School. Louise was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Wilmington, DE. Aside from work, she greatly enjoyed music, theater, and baseball. In addition to her parents, Louise was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Ronald Ollstein. She is survived by her brothers, Dr. Richard Restak and his wife, Carolyn of Washington, D.C. and Christopher Restak of Hanover, PA; her nieces, Jennifer Madeleine Restak, Alison Renee Restak, and Ann Elizabeth Restak; and a host of cousins, close friends, and extended family. A visitation will be held from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11 A.M. on Friday September 3rd 2021 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1414 King Street Wilmington, DE 19801.
