Lorraine Zebroski, age 72, of Wilmington, DE passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2021. Born and raised in Wilmington, DE, Lorraine was the daughter of the late Alice (Ocher) and James Lynch. She graduated from Wilmington High School and went on to work at Bachetti Brothers Market and Janssen's Market. Lorraine was well known for her delicious meatballs and made many friends throughout the years among her customers and fellow employees. In addition to her parents, Lorraine was predeceased in May by her husband of 40 years, Stanley C. Zebroski; and her siblings, Robert Lynch, Larry Lynch, Edward Lynch, Sandy Barrie, Jerome Lynch, Joseph Lynch, and Genevieve Lynch.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Testa and Philip Burgess, Jr.; her grandchildren, Alexandria, Melanie, Philip III, and Owen Burgess; her brother and sister-in-law, James and Carol Lynch; her niece and nephew to whom she became a second mother, Lisa Willingham and Steven Barrie; and a host of nieces, nephews, whom she adored.
A visitation will be held on Monday October 4th from 11 A.M to 12:30 P.M with funeral services beginning at 12:30 P.M at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
