She graduated from Galena High School and attended Goldey-Beacom College after moving to Wilmington. She was a homemaker for many years and then worked as a banking associate until her retirement. Eileen was a talented seamstress and knitter. She dabbled in all manner of arts and crafts, most recently painting. She enjoyed cooking, baking and entertaining. She was interested in politics and stayed current with world events. She was a life-long learner who was always excited for the next challenge.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Gene, Thomas, Donald, and JR Kelley, her sisters Rita Savin, Kay Olivier and Norma Boykin, and her husband of 42 years, Edward F. Dugan, whom she missed dearly in the years since his passing.
Eileen is survived by her daughter, Mary F. Dugan of Wilmington, DE, her daughter and son-inlaw, Julia and David Butz, and four grandchildren, Paul, Catherine, Daniel, and Margaret, all of Havre de Grace, Maryland. She leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors, friends, and caregivers. She will be missed.
