Leonardo Serrano, age 52, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on October 31, 2019 at the Christiana Hospital.Born in Puerto Rico, Leonardo is the son of Adolfo and Juanita (Ibarra) Serrano. After high school, Leonardo worked as a contractor in construction.In addition to his parents, Leonardo will be dearly missed by his partner, Gregg Herzing of Wilmington; his brothers, Orlando and Jessie; his sisters, Carmen, Marylin, Noelia "Nellie", and Zorida; his nephews, Darnell, Sigfredo, and Joseph; his nieces, Isabella, Katelena, Hayden, and Jessica; his uncles, Thomas and Sigfredo; and a host of cousins and extended family.Friends and family are invited to visitation on Sunday, December 1 after 12 PM at the Mealey Funeral Home, 703 N. Broom Street, Wilmington, DE, where funeral services will begin at 1 PM. Burial will be private.
