June 29, 1932 to June 2, 2015John Francis Buckley passed away peacefully on June 2nd, 2015 after a short illness.He is survived by his devoted wife, Kathleen "Kitten", his daughter Kathy, son-in-law Andrew, and his beloved grandchild, John Morgan. He also has two surviving sisters, Barbara and Leonra and many nieces and nephews.Mr. Buckley served his country in the Army from 1954 to 1956. He then attended the University of Maryland and graduated from the University of Delaware. He spent his life wearing many hats. He was a Chemical Engineer for DuPont and Hercules, an entrepreneur for Peterson's House of Fudge, a tax preparer, a Delaware Park worker, and a retail salesman. He enjoyed watching the Baltimore Colts and the Baltimore Orioles and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed every minute that he spent in Cape May, NJ and Hack's Point Beach, MD.The family would like to thank all of the staff at Brandywine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for their care over the last three years, especially Rebecca, Sonya, Amber and Marty. A viewing will be held at 10:00 am at the Resurrection Church in Wilmington DE on Monday, June 8, 2015.
