Age 77, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Forwood Manor.Born in Wilmington, John was the son of the late Frederick J. and Frances (Daly) Baum. He served his country proudly in the US Army. For 31 years, he was the desk clerk at the Wilmington YMCA until his retirement. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his brother, William R. Baum.He is survived by his sister, Helen Price of Portland, ME; his nephews, John G. Baum, Matthew R. Baum and Andrew Price; and a niece, Beth Thompson.Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday, February 11th at 10 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1108 N. Adams Street, Wilmington.
