Joey Damien Magana, age 41, of Wilmington, DE, passed away suddenly at his residence on Thursday, June 4, 2020. Born in Wilmington, Joey was the son of Jose Magana and Renae (Benner) Heiser. He attended Newark and Christiana High Schools. He worked as a self-employed tattoo artist. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, drawing and was an avid Eagles fan. He was a devoted father who loved taking his children swimming, fishing, and shopping. Joey will be dearly missed by his wife, Michelle D. (Chambers) Magana, of 15 years whose relationship spanned over 27 years; his daughter, Emily Zimmerman of Lewes; his sons, Joey Jr. and Antonio Magana of Wilmington; as well as many extended family and friends. Funeral services will be private.
