James M. Raymond, 63, of Newark passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at his home.Jim was born in Lowville, NY, the son of the late Joan (Parkhurst) and Richard Raymond. He was a graduate of the Hudson River State Hospital School of Nursing inPoughkeepsie, New York and the Wilmington Medical Center School of Anesthesia.Jim was also a member of Cavaliers Country Club for 21 years and Ogletown Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Sandy O'Connor.Jim will be dearly missed by his wife of 21 years, Kay Ann (Kowalski) Raymond; his sons and their wives, Christopher and Karla of Landenberg, PA and Todd and Julie of Boulder, CO; his grandchildren, Ryan, Caleb and Graham; his sisters and spouses, Mary Jo and Bruce Mushtare, Becky and Ed Evans and Sue Ennis, all of New York.A Memorial Service will be held at Ogletown Baptist Church, 316 Red Mill Road, Newark, DE 19713 on Thursday at 11AM.
