Age 55 of Newark, DE, passed away at his residence on Thursday, January 14, 2016.Born in Wilmington, James was the son of the late Nester and Mabel Benson. He worked as the director of maintenance for Churchman's Village. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Denise Holly.He is survived by his son, Zack Benson; his brother, Bruce Benson; two nephews, Andrew Benson and Keith Greigg; and a niece, Ashley Tyczkowski.Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, January 21st at Faith Lutheran Church, 2265 Red Lion Road, Bear where friends are invited to visitation after 10 AM.
