Jacqueline M. Connor, "Jacque" 75, of Newark, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 3, 2022, with her husband at her side.
Jacque was born in Upland, PA, the daughter of the late Norma (Newsome) and John Holley. She was a member of the first graduating class of Christiana High School and retired as an executive assistant from the DuPont Company after 11 years. Prior to DuPont, Jacque worked for United Engineers in Philadelphia. After retiring, Jacque started a catering business called 'Special Occasions' and she volunteered at the Little Sisters of the Poor. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Jacque was predeceased by her twin brother, John Holley, Jr.
Jacque is survived by her husband of 32 years, Mark J. Connor; her daughter, Alecia Stephens of Raleigh, NC; her son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Karen Stephens of Naples, FL; her grandchildren, Isabella, Madeline, Harry, Caroline, and Chris and her sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Larry Lanza of Murraysville, PA.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11 AM at Holy Family Church, 15 Gender Drive, Newark, DE 19713. There will be no viewing and burial will be private.
