Age 85, Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 surrounded by her family.Born in Wilmington, Isabelle was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Mary (Lodge) Draper and was a graduate of P.S. DuPont High School. She worked for AIG as an administrative clerk in the Claims Department until her retirement. She was a member of North Baptist Church. Her husband, John H. Sload, predeceased her in 1994.Isabelle will be dearly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane L. and David Cook of New Castle, DE; her sons, John K. Sload of Wilmington and Terry J. Sload and his wife Rita of Elkton, MD; three grandchildren, Stephen Coverdale, Jennifer Brough and her husband, Andrew and Devon Marie Quillin; and 7 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sister, Nancy Wright of Wilmington and her brother, George Draper Jr. of Millsboro, DE.Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 18th at 12 noon at Chester Bethel Church, 2619 Foulk Road, Wilmington where friends and family are invited to visitation after 11 AM.
