Age 93, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 1, 2014. Born in Johnstown, PA, Eva was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Fedock) Barna She was a volunteer at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church and a member of the Cranston Heights Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Stanley A. Brown in 1990; her siblings, Mary Krafchick, Julia Wychak, Anna Duran, and Nancy Gutowski; her daughter-in-law, Lois Mae Brown; and her grandson, Christopher Brown.She will be dearly missed by her children and their spouses, Stanley P. of Easton, PA, Michael C. and Sandra of Wilmington, and Karen and James Giffing of Northeast, MD; five grandchildren, Stanley Jr., Amy, Sean, Corey, and Angela; nine great grandchildren, Morgan, Lindsay, Aubrey, Julia, Reilly, Dalton, Justin, April and Joseph; and two great great granddaughters, Grace and Savannah. Also surviving, sisters Rose Barna, and Helen Klimkowski; and sister-in-law, Ruth Fisher. Friends and family are invited to visitation on Sunday, September 7th between 5 and 7 PM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church, 800 Lea Boulevard, Wilmington on Monday at 12 noon.
