Elaine Telenzak Groves, age 57, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Compassionate Care Hospice, surrounded by her family.She was born in Newark, DE, daughter of Elizabeth M. Telenzak of Glen Mills, PA and the late Michael Telenzak. Elaine graduated from Glasgow High School in 1977 and the University of Rhode Island in 1981. She was a dietician at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland, PA.Elaine was preceded in death by her father and her husband, Charles P. Groves. Elaine is survived by her twin daughters, Charlotte and Sarah; her mother, Elizabeth Telenzak; her brother, Michael E. Telenzak and his wife Merci of San Diego, CA.She was a member of St. John the Beloved Parish. Elaine enjoyed playing tennis, watching Eagles football games, and loved to dance. She was a Bruce Springsteen fan. Elaine was known for her cooking and loved to watch the Food Network Channel. Her favorite activity was spending time with her twin daughters and especially watching them at their sporting events.A Memorial service of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at Mealey Funeral Homes, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where a visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M.
