Dorothy A. Fignar, age 81, of Middletown, DE passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 surrounded by her family.She was born in Hazelton, PA the daughter of the late Stanley and Rose Boris. She retired from the credit card department of Mellon Bank. Dorothy enjoyed bowling, gardening, and reading. She also cherished spending time with family; especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter.She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis E. Fignar, and her daughter, Susan C. Leach. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Janet Fontello (Leonard Cullum) of Middletown; her son-in-law, Henry Leach of Newark; her grandchildren, Henry (Danielle), Michael (Nicole), Len Jr., Benjamin, and Chase; her great granddaughter, Audrey and her sister, Margaret "Peggy" Fortinper of New Castle.Commital services will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE 19701.
