Age 71, of Wilmington, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 16, 2017.Donna was greatly loved by family and friends. She lived her life in service to others by teaching school at Baltz, Richardson Park and Mary C.I. Williams schools and received her Masters from the University of Delaware. She was a caregiver for her father who suffered from Alzheimers Disease until he passed. She had many close friends to who she greatly blessed. Miss Griffith was a member of the Wilmington Church of the Brethren where she loved to sing in the choir.Surviving relatives are from Indiana including an aunt, Pat Griffith and cousins, Brent Griffith and Steve Griffith and second cousin,Trenton Griffith and other relatives. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Ida Griffith from Wilmington and Indiana and her brother Daniel Griffith. Donna will be greatly missed by family and friends.Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 31st at 2 PM at the Wilmington Church of the Brethren, 27 Belmont Avenue, Wilmington. Burial will be Monday at 10 AM at Chester Bethel Cemetery, 2619 Foulk Road, Wilmington, DE 19810.
