Donald F. Gagnon, 83 of Wilmington passed away peacefully on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Seasons Hospice, surrounded by his family.Don was born in Wilmington, the son of the late Dorothy Mae (Campbell) and Walter H. Gagnon. He was a graduate of St. Paul's Grade School and Brown Vocational High School. He served in the U. S. Army and retired after 35 years as a photographer for Hewlett-Packard. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Walter H. Jr. (Jay) and Jack and his sister, Barbara Huber.Donald is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth E. (Neidlein) Gagnon; his sons, Donald, Jr. of Wilmington and Gary and his wife, Rachel of Delmar, MD; his daughters, Jeanine Fox and Renee Buskirk and her husband, Russ, all of Wilmington; his brother, Jerry Gagnon and his wife, Marilyn of Rehoboth; his 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.A celebration of Life will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 PM at the Delaware Association of Police Hall, 2201 Lancaster Avenue, Wilmington.
