Deborah Lou Lenker, 73, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
Deborah was born July 6, 1948 in Herndon, PA, daughter of Clayr and Luella (Burley) Hoover. She graduated from Selinsgrove High School then married the love of her life, John Lenker. She was a homemaker and raised 2 daughters that she loved deeply. Later in her life, she worked at Happy Harry's drugstore and retired after 15 years. In her free time, she loved to spend time with her family and friends and enjoyed her daily chats with her special childhood friend, Peggy. Deborah had a passion for photography and videography. She videotaped thousands of hours of all of her grandchildren from birth to early adulthood, which is an amazing gift that she has left for each of them.
In addition to her parents, Deborah was predeceased by her husband, John F. Lenker in 2016.
Deborah is survived by her daughters, Stacy Schuler (Rich) and Angelia Lenker (Larry); 5 grandchildren that were her pride and joy, Richie (Brenna), Robbie (Taylor), Tyler (Paola), Lamont (Alyssa), and Jonathan; and 2 great grandchildren that she couldn't say enough about, Adriana and Payton. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Stuart Lenker (Lois) and sister-in-law, Ellen Lenker; and many nieces and nephews. She has a long list of very special friends and cherished each and every one. There are no words to express how much Deborah (Mom Mom) will be missed. She was a truly a remarkable women.
Services and burial will be held privately.
