Age 88, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 26, 2018 surrounded by his family.Born in Rock Island, IL, Daniel was the son of the late Daniel H. and Cornelia (Klueter) Hall. He attended the University of Michigan and earned a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering. He then served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He returned to Michigan and completed a Masters Degree in Physics. In 1969, he began working for Hewlett Packard and retired from Agilent Company in 1995. His daughter, Karen G. Hall, predeceased him in 2003.Daniel will be dearly missed by his wife of 58 years, Lila (Mount) Hall; and his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel A. and Laurie M. Hall of West Newbury, MA; and his daughter and son-in-law, Janice A. and Mark A. DeSantis of Newark; and his grandchildren, Daniel M. and Lauren A. DeSantis.A Celebration of Life will be held at Deerfield Golf Club, 507 Thompson Station Rd, Newark, DE 19711, on May 19, 2018 at 11 AM.
