Age 73, of Wilmington, DE, passed away at Wilmington Hospital on Thursday, May 14, 2015.Born in Greenfield, MA, Christine was the daughter of Helen L. (Bonk) Pekenia and the late John Pekenia. She worked as a travel agent for over 15 years for My World Travel and made more than 25 trips to Europe with her favorite country being Italy. Her husband, John Molinaro, predeceased her.She will be dearly missed by her mother, Helen Pekenia of South Harwich, MA; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Barbara Pekenia of Falmouth, MA; her sister and brother-n-law, Susan and Howard Gates of South Harwich, MA; her stepson, John Molinaro, of Athens, OH; her nephew Jeffery Gates and his wife Melisa; her niece, Nancy Martin and her husband, Jeffrey; and several great nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 18th at 4 PM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where friends and family are invited after 3 PM.
