Carol Marie Waibel, 50, of Bear was received triumphantly and with joy into her forever home, unexpectedly, on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Carol was born in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Frank Cerminaro Jr. She graduated from Delcastle Technical High School. Carol will be forever missed by her stepmother, Karen Wolf; husband, Carl Waibel; her sons, Anthony Cerminaro (Taylor), Johnathan Cerminaro (Alexa), Jeffery Morrow and her daughters, Alyssan Cerminaro and Jayden Waibel; her sisters, Kathy Cerminaro, Rachel Cerminaro; her brothers, Frank Cerminaro (Lauren) and Mike Cerminaro (Christie). Carol is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved and cared for like they were her own; numerous friends whom she considered family; and her beloved kit kits, who are too numerous to count. Carol enjoyed scrap-booking and also enjoyed dancing and singing. When the opportunity presented itself, she could be found watching her favorite Lifetime movie specials. Carol's greatest joy, however, was found in spending time with her beloved children and her family, as she cherished every single moment she spent with them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, as she touched so many lives. A visitation will be held at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 PM. Services and burial will be held privately.
