Angelo Falasca, age 80, of Wilmington, DE passed away on October 19, 2017 at Seasons Hospice. Angelo was born in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Anna Marie (Marianna) and Joseph Falasca. In addition to his parents, Angelo was predeceased by his brother, Richard Falasca and his son, Kenneth Falasca. Angelo is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Falasca; his sons, Richard Falasca of Camden, NJ and Steven (Paula) of Wilmington, DE; his daughter, Suzanne (David) of Wilmington, DE; his grandchildren, Michael, David, Gabriella, and Sophia Falasca, and Georgia and Griffin Glenn; and his sister Joann Hopkins and niece, Nicole Swansen.Angelo grew up in Vineland, NJ and served honorably in the US Army. He then attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where he met and married Carolyn. He graduated from Rutgers Law School in 1970. He worked as an attorney in the Public Defender's Office for the State of Delaware. He had a small, private law practice as well as being Chief Deputy Public Defender until his retirement in 2006.Angelo enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing with friends, attending his grandchildren's activities and his fellowship with church friends. Since his retirement, Angelo became a world traveler. Some of his favorite destinations were Africa, Italy, Panama, Canada, Alaska and the Grand Canyon. He explored all of these sites with his beloved wife and other family members. Angelo was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Wednesday October 25th, 2017 from 10AM to 11:30AM at Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, 500 McKennans Church Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where a service will begin at 11:30AM.
