Age 61, of Newark, DE, passed away suddenly at Christiana Hospital on Sunday, August 9, 2015.Born in Wilmington, DE, Allan was the son of the late Harold Eugene and Dorothy Adele (Barnes) Hale. He was a graduate of Conrad High School and worked as a CAD operator for his own business The CADD Alternative. His hobbies included a love of sports cars, movies, the History Channel, news and Formula 1 car races.He will be dearly missed by his wife of 27 years, Deborah Lynn (Nelson) Hale; his children, Rosemarie Hale and Kyle Michael Megaw; and his niece Megan Lynn Nelson. Also surviving are his sisters and brothers-in-law, Grace and Ken Saylor of South Carolina. Kathleen and Robert Hudson of Wilmington, DE and RoseMary and Paul Glazewski of Middletown, DE; his brothers and sisters-in-law, H.E. "Sam" and Rebecca Hale of South Carolina and Roger and Elisabeth Hale of Maine; his beloved dog, Freckles; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday, August 14th at 4 PM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where friends and family are invited to visitation after 2 PM.
