Age 87, of Wilmington, DE, went to Heaven on Sunday, May 31, 2015 surrounded by her family.Born in Wilmington, Betty was the daughter of the late John and Sylvia (Bechmer) Bogucki. She was a homemaker and enjoyed time with her family, especially at all holiday dinners and the Christmas season. She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis John Sullivan, her brother, Henry Bogucki; her sisters, Lorraine Bogucki and Florence Barczewski; and her beloved friend and companion, John Skomorucha.Betty will be dearly missed by her children, daughter Christine Edwards (Keith) and Gary Sullivan (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Dawn Edwards, Drew Oncay and Shauna, Shane and Jared Sullivan; her great grandson, Bryson Sullivan; and her sister, Dorothy Gryan.Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 8th at 11 AM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where friends and family are invited to visitation after 10 AM. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington. The family suggests contributions to the Helen Graham Cancer Research Center, 4701 Ogletown Stanton Road, Newark, DE 19713.
