From Philadelphia

  • Take Interstate 95 South past the Wilmington exits to the Newport/New Castle Exits.
  • Follow the exit for Newport, Rt. 141 and continue on this road until the exit, following the signs for Route 2 West, Kirkwood Highway to Newark.
  • Stay on Route 2 West, which is Kirkwood Highway, in the right lane until you reach the intersection of Route 7 and Route 2. (There is a restaurant on the right).
  • Turn right onto Route 7 North.
  • Mealey Funeral Home is a 1/2 mile on the right.

From New Jersey

  • Follow the New Jersey Turnpike over the Delaware Memorial Bridge.
  • Stay in the left lane after the tolls, following signs for Interstate 95 South-Baltimore and Newport.
  • Follow the signs for the Newport exit, Route 141 North.
  • Stay on Route 141 North for approximately 2 or 3 miles.
  • Take the exit off of Route 141 N., following signs for Route 2 West, Kirkwood Highway to Newark.
  • Stay on Route 2 West, which is Kirkwood Highway, in the right lane until you reach the intersection of Route 7 and Route 2. (There is a restaurant on the right).
  • Turn right onto Route 7 North.
  • Mealey Funeral Home is a 1/2 mile on the right.

From the Oxford/Avondale Area

  • Exit Route 1 onto Route 41 South.
  • Follow Route 41 South to Route 7 South.
  • Follow Route 7 South for approximately 5 or 6 miles (passing Goldey Beacom College) to the intersection of Milltown Road.
  • At this intersection, go straight through the light, staying on Limestone Road, but immediately get in the left lane to make a U-Turn in front of our funeral home directly across the street.
  • As you take the U-turn, stay to the right as if you are turning onto Milltown Road.
  • The entrance to the funeral home parking lot is before the light.

From Baltimore

  • Take Interstate 95 North to the Exit 4B Route 7 North.
  • The ramp will exit onto Route 7 North.
  • Follow Route 7 North, staying the left lane.
  • After Delaware Park, Route 7 will bear to the left.
  • Proceed on Route 7, following the bend to the left.
  • As you cross the intersection at Route 2, stay on Route 7 but get into the right lane.
  • From Kirkwood Highway, Mealey Funeral Home is a 1/2 mile up on the right.

From Downstate

  • Take Route 1 through Dover and Smyrna, into New Castle County.
  • Follow Route 1 until it ends, which will be slightly past the Christiana Mall. (DON'T take the exit for the mall!).
  • You will exit onto Route 7 North.
  • Follow Route 7 North, staying in the left lane.
  • After Delaware Park, Route 7 will bear to the left.
  • Proceed on Route 7, following the bend to the left.
  • As you cross the intersection at Route 2, stay on Route 7 but get into the right lane.
  • Mealey Funeral Home is a 1/2 mile up on the right.

  • Take Interstate 95 South into Delaware and exit at the Delaware Avenue exit.
  • Follow the off ramp up to the traffic signal.
  • Continue straight through the intersection to the next light at 10th Street.
  • Turn right onto 10th Street and continue several blocks to Broom Street.
  • Turn left onto Broom Street and continue to the intersection at 7th Street.
  • Mealey Funeral Home is on the right with free parking across the street.

From the Delaware Memorial Bridge

  • Take the New Jersey Turnpike over the Delaware Memorial Bridge and follow signs for Interstate 295.
  • Follow Interstate 295 to Interstate 95 North towards Wilmington.
  • Exit at the Delaware Avenue Exit, staying left.
  • Go two blocks and turn left onto 10th Street.
  • Stay on 10th Street for several blocks to Broom Street.
  • Turn left onto Broom Street and continue to the intersection at 7th Street.
  • Mealey Funeral Home is on the right with free parking across the street.

From Baltimore

  • Follow Interstate 95 North to the Wilmington-Delaware Avenue Exit.
  • Exit at the Delaware Avenue Exit, staying left.
  • Go two blocks and turn left onto 10th Street.
  • Stay on 10th Street for several blocks to Broom Street.
  • Turn left onto Broom Street and continue to the intersection at 7th Street.
  • Mealey Funeral Home is on the right with free parking across the street.

From Avondale

  • Follow Route 41 East for several miles to Route 2 East (Kirkwood Highway).
  • Follow Kirkwood Highway into Wilmington city limits where it becomes Lincoln Street.
  • Go to 9th Street and turn right.
  • Follow 9th Street to Broom Street and turn right onto Broom Street.
  • Go two blocks to 7th Street.
  • Mealey Funeral Home is on the right with free parking across the street.
